Job summary

BCU in Idaho seeks a member services professional to process consumer loans from application to close and provide consultative lending assistance. The role focuses on identifying member financial needs and delivering lending solutions while maintaining strong member relations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2 years in financial services or retail, and is fully bilingual with excellent communication skills. Travel to other island areas may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a financial institution or retail sales preferred.
• Fully bilingual.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

• Operate independently with minimal direction.
• Knowledge of Windows PC and banking systems.
• Willingness to travel to other island areas if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process consumer loans from application to close with proven sales results.
• Interview members/prospective members to identify and fulfill financial and lending needs.
• Process loan applications and consult to close loans with ancillary products.
• Conduct all member service transactions.
• Build and maintain favorable member relations/relationships.
• Comply with internal and external regulations, policies and procedures.
• Achieve individual sales and service goals including consumer loan origination sales.
• Complete required registrations or certifications as needed.
