Job summary

Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Part Time Member Relationship Specialist to provide excellent member service, handle new accounts and loans, and cross-sell banking products. You will be the face of the branch, protecting confidentiality and delivering a high level of service to members, volunteers, staff, and partners.

The role requires strong communication, cash handling, and teamwork skills, plus the ability to work a rotating schedule including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial institution products and services with loans.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a diverse group.
• Ability to cross-sell products using a needs-based approach.
• Ability to work in a team and rotate Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to Members and service providers.
• Cross-sell Redwood Credit Union products and services.
• Open accounts and match Member needs to products.
• Determine loan products to meet Member needs.
• Collect loan documents and complete loan applications.
• Complete loan funding and suggest additional products.
• Research questions and resolve problems with accurate information.
• Safeguard member information and ensure confidentiality.
• Perform file maintenance and accurate teller transactions.
• Audit documents and participate in meetings.
