Job summary

Collins Community Credit Union in Iowa seeks a Member Relationship Specialist (MRS) III to originate and close consumer loans while expanding membership and deposit relationships. You will conduct consultative interviews, collect documentation, and guide members through loan options with clear terms.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in consumer lending, retail banking, or a sales-focused environment.
• Experience with loan origination, deposit account opening, or membership development strongly preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain active NMLS registration.

Responsibilities

• Originate and close consumer loans in line with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
• Grow membership and deposit relationships through cross-selling of loans, credit cards, digital banking, and ancillary products.
• Conduct consultative interviews, collect documentation, and identify lending opportunities.
• Maintain a pipeline of active loans and ensure timely processing and closing.
• Provide exceptional member experiences across channels and deliver financial education.
