Job summary

Collins Community Credit Union in Cedar Rapids is hiring a Member Benefit Consultant to promote CCCU products and services, originate new accounts and consumer loans, including home equity loans. The role involves outbound calling and community outreach, with the position based onsite at our Blairs Ferry Road location.

You'll need excellent communication skills, a proactive, doer mindset, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate enthusiastic support of CCCU's mission and values.
• Represent the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner; maintain confidentiality.
• Build strong member relationships by engaging in conversations to uncover financial needs.
• Assist members with consumer loan products via phone, text, email, and Video Banking with timely follow-up.
• Maintain knowledge of all CCCU products and services and assist with financial transactions as needed.
• Have thorough knowledge of Federal Regulations and Credit Union Policies applicable to this position.
• Assist with in-person closings for consumer and home equity loans with accurate, efficient, and exceptional member experiences.
• Present and educate members on the benefits of ancillary products (GAP, Warranty, Debt Protection).
• Demonstrate teamwork in all interactions and duties.
