Job summary

Fortera Federal Credit Union in Nashville is seeking a Teller/Relationship Manager to perform member transactions and originate loans and new accounts. Training will occur in Clarksville, TN, with emphasis on consultative needs assessment and product recommendations.

The role emphasizes cross-selling, strong service, and adherence to compliance standards, including privacy and security of member information. Some travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Minimum six months’ experience in Retail Sales is preferred.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Teller and Relationship Manager operations is preferred.
• Consumer Lending experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet established sales and service goals.
• Actively cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Open and close accounts and process routine transactions.
• Respond to member inquiries and resolve problems promptly.
• Maintain privacy and security of member information.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and compliance activities.
