Job summary

Reporting to the CEO in a small three‑person office, you will lead recruitment, plan about 10 events annually, manage newsletters, sponsorships, and workforce development initiatives, while building lasting partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing, business or related field.
• 5+ years in membership development, association management, events, marketing or nonprofit sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong event planning and project management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a small-team setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to recruit and retain contractor and associate members.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage ~10 events and programs annually.
• Create newsletters, announcements, social content and campaigns.
• Maintain sponsor relationships and manage communications for events.
• Support workforce development initiatives and educational programs.
• Collaborate with CEO on strategic initiatives and reporting.
