Job summary

The Spokane Club is seeking a Marketing Associate to develop and implement campaigns across digital and traditional channels. You will collaborate with department heads to promote programming, events and services while maintaining brand standards.

You will craft copy for member communications, manage social content calendars, update WordPress pages, and assist with analytics and market research. Some weekend work and travel to events may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign or similar tools, and comfort learning new platforms and software.
• Familiarity with WordPress and basic coding knowledge (HTML/CSS).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with track record of effectively dealing a wide variety of personality types.
• Customer-service orientation to create an atmosphere of genuine care for members and guests and to provide a high level of personalized service.
• Demonstrated ability to think and act quickly, problem solve, and perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Solid computer skills and experience with Microsoft platforms.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-volume office environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop marketing campaigns promoting programming and service offerings in all departments using digital and traditional media.
• Write and edit copy for member communications, event promotions, social media, press releases, and marketing collateral, adapting tone and style to fit each audience and channel.
• Design collateral and promotional materials for programming and events, including flyers, physical signage, digital graphics, and print, while maintaining brand consistency.
• Support and promote internal and external events; grow participation through marketing channels and coordinate activities during events.
• Create monthly content calendars for social media; build relationships with influencers and engage with the online community.
• Attend Club and community events and occasionally trade shows/expos, including evenings and weekends, for photos/videos.
• Maintain and update in WordPress, including design, content, media, and SEO optimization; light HTML knowledge preferred.
• Monitor and engage in customer reviews in digital spaces and coordinate follow-up with service recoveries.
