Job summary

Collins Community Credit Union is seeking a Member Relationship Specialist (MRS) III to originate consumer loans and grow membership in a customer-focused role. You will cross-sell deposits, guide members through loan options, and maintain loyalty through exceptional service across in-person and digital channels.

The position emphasizes regulatory compliance, teamwork, and a nimble, member-first sales approach to meet production goals and service standards within the Cedar Rapids area.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in consumer lending, retail banking, or a sales-focused environment.
• Experience with loan origination or deposit account opening preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain active NMLS registration.

Responsibilities

• Generate and cross-sell deposits and loans to grow membership.
• Originate and close consumer loans in line with policy.
• Meet monthly loan production and growth targets.
• Provide member-focused financial guidance across channels (in-person, phone, digital).
• Maintain regulatory compliance and integrity (SAFE Act, NMLS).
• Collaborate with branch teammates and underwriters to ensure a seamless member experience.
