Sacramento Credit Union is hiring a Financial Service Specialist I (Teller) at the Madison Branch. This role focuses on serving members, handling cash transactions, and cross-selling credit union products to meet referral goals.

Typical schedule is 37–40 hours per week with rotating shifts. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to assist members with online and mobile banking services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related work experience in member service and cash handling.
• Ability to improve members’ financial well-being via cross-sells.
• Ability to perform accurate math calculations and cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships.
• Demonstrated member service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members courteously and professionally.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, cash checks, transfers, loan payments and more.
• Issue ATM/VISA cards and assist with PIN updates.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and dual control.
• Cross-sell products and refer members to staff for assistance.
• Achieve referral goals as directed by Branch Lead/Manager.
• Balance cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies.
• Enroll members in online/mobile banking.
• Identify and report fraudulent activity to prevent losses.
