Job summary

Sacramento Credit Union is seeking a part-time Financial Service Specialist I (Teller) at the Bradshaw branch to provide courteous member service, process transactions, and cross-sell products. The 20-hour weekly schedule includes Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday shifts with fixed days off.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle cash accurately while complying with bank policies and BSA procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and related work experience in member service and cash handling.
• Ability to perform accurate math calculations and cash transactions.
• Strong communication and cross-selling skills.
• Ability to maintain records and keyboard speed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, cash checks, transfers, loan payments, issue cashier’s checks, and other transactions.
• Issue new ATM/VISA check cards and assist with PIN updates.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and dual control operating tasks.
• Educate and cross-sell products/services to members and refer to staff as needed.
• Achieve referral goals and balance cash drawer at end of shift.
• Enroll members in online and mobile banking.
• Identify and report fraudulent activity and maintain knowledge of all products.
