Job summary

Landmark Credit Union is seeking a Personal Financial Officer to assist members with a broad range of financial needs in a branch setting. You will identify deposit and lending solutions, originate consumer loans, and manage the application and closing process.

The role focuses on opening and maintaining deposit relationships, processing home equity loan applications, and ensuring all documentation and disclosures are completed accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Prior teller or lending experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and explain credit bureau reports.
• Ability to recommend deposit and loan products based on member needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving, organizational skills; ability to work independently.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with confidentiality.
• Must have or be able to attain National Mortgage Licensing System registration (NMLS).

Responsibilities

• Manage loan pipelines and obtain required member documentation.
• Provide solutions on financial products and services; open savings, IRA/HSA products, and service requests.
• Cross-sell accounts and loans, including referrals to Landmark Investment Center.
• Consistently promote GAP and Payment Protection to members.
• Provide required disclosures to applicants.
• Resolve member issues and respond to inquiries.
• Educate members on using available automated systems and set them up for services.
• May attend training at headquarters or off-site locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
