Job summary

Blaze Credit Union in St Paul, MN seeks a personable Personal Banker to join our team. You’ll guide Members through accounts, loans, and services, building lasting relationships with a focus on service—and growth for Blaze. You’ll open accounts, process changes, and help Members meet their financial goals.

This role offers a 40-hour weekly schedule, competitive hourly pay, benefits, and opportunities to advance through our CAREER pathway while giving back to the Minnesota community.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least two years' experience in financial services.
• Eligible to obtain an NMLS ID within 30 days of hire.
• Proven experience as a personal banker or equivalent; sales and customer service experience is a plus.
• Experience with opening new accounts, lending, and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Educate members on how to optimize Blaze's services to meet their needs.
• Open and process changes on Savings, Checking, Certificate, Retirement, Legal and Business Accounts.
• Oversee consumer loan process following approved guidelines.
• Create meaningful relationships via excellent service and face-to-face interaction.
• Support the team by taking initiative to meet Blaze's growth objectives.
