Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union in Price, UT is seeking a Financial Service Representative (Loan Officer) to provide exceptional member service and help members achieve their financial goals.

You will open and service accounts, assess needs, and originate loans while following regulatory requirements and MACU standards. This on-site role offers a starting hourly wage with opportunities for advancement and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ year of retail banking or related sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to satisfy immediate and unexpected needs by recommending credit union products and services with knowledge and confidence.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain composure while handling member activities.
• Ability to prepare loan documents and cross-sell financial services.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service by opening and servicing accounts and explaining products and services.
• Originates loans by interviewing applicants, reviewing credit, and cross-selling loans.
• Prepare loan documents, initiates credit reports, and conducts closings for home equity, personal, and auto loans.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations including BSA, OFAC, FACT Act, GLBA, and Reg CC/DD.
• Represent MACU in a professional manner and participate in community events.
