Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• 6–12 months teller experience within a financial institution, retail sales, or a customer service position involving cash handling.
• Bilingual skills are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service at the teller window, including greeting members by name and ensuring their needs are fulfilled.
• Perform and document over-the-counter transactions as identified in the teller habit pattern.
• Understand and determine acceptability of negotiable items and member identification.
• Identify and address member questions and concerns to offer solutions.
• Refer to appropriate staff or open product/service opportunities as cross-sell leads.
• Assist with lobby management to ensure timely service and a welcoming environment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services and tools and educate members about new offerings.
• Maintain cash drawer and balance within guidelines; assist with lifting up to 50-pound bags of coin.
• Perform additional duties as required by Management.
