Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Teller in Troy to deliver exceptional member service and process high volumes of transactions. This role emphasizes accuracy, fraud awareness, and knowledge of LMCU products to help members meet their financial goals.

The Teller will balance cash drawers daily, maintain security protocols, and contribute to branch growth through proactive engagement and product recommendations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience.
• Previous cash handling experience and knowledge of financial products and services preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required); some college coursework or banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive member experience leading to member retention through proactive engagement.
• Identify and address member needs, offering information and guidance about products and services.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to all members, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate adverse situations, ensuring positive outcomes for both members and LMCU.
• Accurately perform basic and advanced teller transactions and balance cash drawer daily.
