Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a part-time Teller to greet members and process a high volume of transactions on-site at our Metro location. You will promote product knowledge, assist with account needs, and contribute to a welcoming branch environment.

Responsibilities include accurate cash handling, maintaining balance, fraud awareness, and delivering friendly, efficient service to members. This role emphasizes risk awareness, product promotion, and ongoing learning to support branch

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of teller or cash handling experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive member experience leading to member retention through proactive engagement, building trusting relationships with members.
• Identify and address member needs, offering information and guidance about products and services that align with their financial goals.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to all members, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate adverse situations, ensuring positive outcomes for both members and LMCU.
