Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a part-time Teller to be the friendly face of the branch, processing a high volume of transactions with accuracy and exceptional member service. This on-site role focuses on retention, product promotion, and risk awareness to protect both members and LMCU.

Responsibilities include deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and cash handling while balancing the cash drawer and following security procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year up to 3 years of similar or related experience.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive member experience leading to member retention.
• Identify member needs and advise on products and services.
• Provide friendly, professional, efficient service to all members.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate adverse situations.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and other transactions accurately.
