Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Part-Time Teller to serve as the face of the branch, delivering warm, efficient service and handling a high volume of transactions. You will promote products that meet members' financial goals and help protect members through fraud prevention and risk awareness.

The role focuses on accurate, timely cash handling, adherence to policies, and contributing to branch growth through member education and referrals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year to 3 years of teller or related experience.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive member experience to drive retention and build trust with members.
• Perform basic and advanced teller transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, wire requests) and balance cash drawer daily.
• Demonstrate product knowledge to refer members to appropriate LMCU products and services.
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures and uphold security protocols.
