Job summary

Community First Credit Union is seeking a Teller to be a front-line ambassador, handling cash and a high volume of transactions with accuracy and a friendly approach. You will engage with members, promote services, and learn financial products with top-notch training.

An ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least one year of cash handling, strong listening and communication skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and web-based software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and web-based software.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members.
• Receive cash and checks for deposit.
• Cash checks for members.
• Accept loan and credit card payments.
• Perform transactions between accounts as instructed by members.
• Place holds on deposited items per policy.
• Disburse cashier's checks, money orders, and gift cards.
• Identify non-negotiable or fraudulent checks to avoid losses.
• Accurately balance and close cash drawer daily.
• Promote and refer credit union products and services.
