Job summary

General Electric Credit Union in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a Member Service Representative to be the primary contact for members, handling inquiries and transactions via inbound calls at our onsite location.

You will resolve general account questions, support online banking, assist with loan payments and transfers, educate members on credit union products, and work with teammates to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of customer service experience.
• Prior call center experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a financial institution or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inbound member telephone inquiries, striving for first contact resolution.
• Resolve questions including general account questions, online banking support, and card inquiries.
• Handle transactions including loan payments and internal transfers.
• Educate and assist members with other credit union products and services; recommend products to enhance members’ financial lives.
• Collaborate with internal team members through virtual channels to resolve inquiries and issues; convey member feedback to be addressed.
