Job summary

General Electric Credit Union is seeking a dedicated Member Service Representative to serve as the primary contact for members, handling inquiries and transactions onsite. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, resolving general financial questions, and supporting members with a range of credit union products and services.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least six months in customer service, ideally with call center or financial-institution experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of customer service experience required.
• Prior call center experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a financial institution or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound member inquiries and transactions via phone.
• Resolve questions on accounts, online banking, card inquiries, loans, and transfers.
• Educate members on credit union products and services and upsell where appropriate.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and relay member feedback.
