Job summary

Apple Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative to assist members in person, by mail or by phone. Under supervision, you will process deposits, withdrawals and transfers, verify endorsements and maintain accurate records while representing the credit union with courtesy and professionalism.

You will uphold The Apple Way—Team Up, Serve with Purpose, Challenge Yourself and Own It—while meeting training requirements and exploring cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months financial institution or cash handling experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent interpersonal and member/customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Excellent math ability and attention to detail.
• PC proficiency and comfort with banking software.

Responsibilities

• Represent the credit union to members in person, by mail or by phone with courteous, professional service.
• Process deposits, withdrawals and transfers; balance cash to daily vouchers.
• Input and verify transactions in computer systems.
• Provide basic information on loans and accounts; assist with product inquiries.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer PSOs to members as appropriate.
• Follow security policies and report any questionable transactions to a supervisor.
