TAPCO Credit Union in Canyon Branch, Tacoma, WA, is hiring a full-time Member Service Representative to deliver exceptional service, handle daily transactions, and build member relationships in a branch setting. This on-site role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with banking rules, and proactive referrals to solutions.

The position supports community engagement and growth, with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Notary is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of cash handling experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Must be eligible for and able to maintain bondability as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and professional experience by greeting members and assisting with all transaction needs accurately.
• Build and retain member relationships in person and through outbound calling with product referrals.
• Engage in conversations to identify opportunities to refer members to additional solutions.
• Balance cash drawer daily and resolve discrepancies.
• Support branch operations with drive-up functions, night drop processing, and opening/closing duties.
• Adhere to BSA, OFAC, and related laws in job functions.
• Collaborate with team and organization levels to foster a positive culture.
• Engage in branch promotions and community events as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures and assist with other duties as required.
• Carry out any additional duties as assigned.
