Job summary

Excel Fitness Texas seeks a Team Member to help maintain a clean, welcoming club and support member services. You will operate the POS, manage member data on tablets, and assist with promotions under GM/AM supervision.

Role requires CPR/AED certification, strong communication, and the ability to stand long periods. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is valued. Flexible hours including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and AED certification required before working alone.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Strong communication skills with customers.
• Team-oriented and well-organized.
• Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computers.
• Familiar with Excel, Planet Fitness brand, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Ensure proper training to operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and up to Excel standards.
• Perform club walkarounds and complete assigned cleaning tasks and reinspections.
• Audit and balance cash drawers daily.
• Input and update member information into tablets and POS.
• Ensure members adhere to company policies and guidelines.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for all members.
• Communicate with members and deliver high level of service.
• Stock retail and janitorial items for the shift.
• Assist GM/AM with promotions, training, and operations.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and insurance requirements.
