Job summary

The Taymax Group, LP, the Planet Fitness franchisee, is hiring a Member Services Representative for its Converse, TX club. You will greet members and guests, manage front desk duties, assist in tours, sign up new members, process payments, and help keep the club neat and welcoming.

You will answer phones, check members in, update accounts, and collaborate with the Club Manager to resolve questions and concerns.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
• Check members into the system.
• Take prospective members on tours and sign up new members, calculating rates and monthly payments.
• Assist Club Manager with cash drawer and daily closing tasks as needed.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts and respond to questions professionally.
• Maintain club neatness and cleanliness; perform daily tasks and cleaning rounds.
