Benton REA is hiring a Temporary Member Experience Representative to assist members in a fast-paced, member-facing environment. The role includes balancing daily cash receipts, processing billing, and delivering courteous service in a collaborative team setting.

The position is based in West Richland, WA, with potential reporting to Prosser as needed. The assignment lasts up to four months and does not include Association benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Two (2) years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency in general office tasks, computer peripherals.
• Valid driver's license.

• Prior banking or utility customer service experience.
• Forward thinking, with a drive towards process improvement, efficiency, excellence.

Work Schedule

• 4-10 work schedule, with every Friday off
• 10 hours paid sick leave per month

Benton REA has offices in West Richland and Prosser, WA. This position will primarily report to the headquarters in West Richland but may occasionally need to report to Prosser.

This is a temporary position expected to last up to four (4) months. Temporary positions are not eligible for Association benefits and do not have a length of service or hours guarantee.

Supplemental Information

Selection process will include a request for writing samples, with a preference towards excellent communication skills, interview and skills testing through Willo, and in-person interview process.

Final candidate selected will be subject to a comprehensive background process, to include criminal background check, driving history review, and drug screen.
