Job summary

Resource One Credit Union in Dallas seeks a friendly Member Experience Representative to guide members and non-members through everyday banking tasks, answer questions, and ensure smooth, professional service.

You will process deposits, withdrawals, checks, money orders, and loan payments, balance cash totals daily, open/close terminals, and promote products aligned with members' financial goals while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years' cash handling experience.
• Prior banking/credit union experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and assist with issues, questions and requests.
• Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, checks, money orders, and loan payments.
• Balance and verify cash totals daily.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services; offer appropriate options.
• Open and close computer terminal accounts daily.

• Perform drive-up teller and night drop duties as assigned.

Description

The Member Experience Representative will assist members and non-members of the credit union with various administrative and financial transactions, and will be responsible for processing routine banking transactions and recommending products and services based on the member’s financial goals.

Role and Responsibilities

• Greet members in a professional and courteous manner and assist them with all issues, questions and requests.
• Process member transactions, including; deposits, withdrawals, cashiers' checks, money orders, and loan payments in person, by telephone or mail.
• Balance and verifies transactions and cash totals on a daily basis
• Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the complete line of products and services and offers appropriate products and services to members and potential members.
• Opens and closes computer terminal accounts daily
• Examines documents for endorsement and negotiability.
• Detects and resolves discrepancies promptly.
• Performs drive-up teller and night drop functions as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years' cash handling experience.
• Prior banking/credit union experience preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
