Job summary

Resource One Credit Union in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking a Member Experience Representative to assist members and non-members with various administrative and financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, and to recommend products based on financial goals. Greet members, balance cash totals daily, open/close terminals, and handle drive-up and night drop duties.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and cash handling experience; banking experience preferred.

Qualifications

The Member Experience Representative will assist members and non-members of the credit union with various administrative and financial transactions, and will be responsible for processing routine banking transactions and recommending products and services based on the member’s financial goals.

Role and Responsibilities

• Greet members in a professional and courteous manner and assist them with all issues, questions and requests.
• Process member transactions, including; deposits, withdrawals, cashiers’ checks, money orders, and loan payments in person, by telephone or mail.
• Balance and verifies transactions and cash totals on a daily basis.
• Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the complete line of products and services and offers appropriate products and services to members and potential members.
• Opens and closes computer terminal accounts daily.
• Examines documents for endorsement and negotiability.
• Detects and resolves discrepancies promptly.
• Performs drive-up teller and night drop functions as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ cash handling experience.
• Prior banking/credit union experience preferred.
