Qualifications

• High School diploma required, some college preferred.
• Proven sales skills and 1 year member service or retail banking experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of banking or credit union regulations preferred.
• Experience recommending products to improve a member’s financial position preferred.
• Notary license required upon hire; Mortgage Loan Originator qualifier (NMLS) required; background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, opening new accounts and service requests.
• Educate members on features and benefits, cross-sell and refer for loans, deposits, and fees.
• Build trust and long-term relationships through consultative service.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with follow-ups and contact information.
• Refer to financial experts as needed and resolve moderately complex issues.
• Provide notarial services and support risk/compliance processes.
