Job summary

Resource One Credit Union is seeking a proactive Member Experience Advisor to greet members, gather needed information and open accounts while promoting products and services. You will educate members on policies and ensure requests are resolved promptly and accurately.

The role involves processing account changes, supporting card issues, and maintaining privacy of member information, with a focus on accuracy and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years’ Member Experience Representative/Teller experience required.
• Background screening (credit, criminal, education, employment and drug screen) successfully completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with opening new personal and business accounts, process changes to existing accounts, and provide onsite support for credit/debit card issues.
• Open new member accounts and business accounts; process changes to existing accounts.
• Inform members of policies and services, including eligibility, account types, rates, payroll deduction, and related services.
• Verify and balance transactions and cash totals.
• Process wire transfers, IRA/CD deposits and withdrawals.
• Open/close computer terminal accounts daily.
• Monitor deposits and examine documents for endorsements.
• Detect and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with loan processing and posting loan payments.
• Assist with vault duties.
• Maintain privacy of member information.
• Provide backup support to Representatives, Advisors and Agents.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and professional appearance.
• Complete required reports and attend meetings.
