Job summary

REGIONAL Federal Credit Union in Portage, IN is seeking a full-time Member Service Advisor to join our team. You will greet members, open accounts, assist with loan processing, and provide information on the full range of credit union products and services. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years banking experience, good communication skills, and a customer‑focused approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• 1–2 years general banking experience.
• 1–2 years of consumer loan processing experience.
• 1 year of home equity loan processing experience.
• Cross selling and consultative sales experience preferred.
• Bilingual-Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and visitors in a professional manner.
• Open accounts and assist with service requests.
• Provide information on products and services.
• Process loan requests and facilitate closings for members.
• Cross-sell products to develop member relationships.
• Respond to inquiries via phone and in person.
• Assist Supervisor of Member Services with complex questions and problems.
