Job summary

Suffolk Credit Union in Sayville, NY is seeking a Personal Banker II to deliver outstanding member service, build trusted relationships, and drive cross-sell opportunities across retail banking and wealth referrals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet branch goals and maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and member satisfaction.

Requirements include a high school diploma, two years of customer service (banking preferred), a Notary license within three months, and an NMLS-ID

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of customer service, preferably in banking.
• Notary license required or to be obtained within three months of hire.
• NMLS-ID required and provided at hire if not already held.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to current and prospective members.
• Educate members on products and benefits, identifying cross-sell opportunities.
• Resolve requests and issues promptly while maintaining confidentiality.
• Build relationships and generate referral opportunities in lending and wealth services.
• Process transactions accurately and support outbound member outreach.
• Assist with onboarding and account maintenance, including fraud claims.
• Support branch operations and travel to branches as needed.
• Meet monthly loan goals in compliance with policies and regulations.
