Job summary

Greater Iowa Credit Union is seeking a Member Advisor to deliver exceptional member experiences while promoting credit union products and services. You will assist with deposits, loans, and digital banking tools, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

A Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) eligibility is required. The role emphasizes consultative selling, relationship building, and accurate service in a cooperative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years in similar roles.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of lending and depository regulations is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Grow member relationships by creating positive experiences and deepening financial relationships.
• Explain loan options and evaluate creditworthiness following procedures.
• Assist members with teller transactions and digital banking tools.
• Greet members professionally and provide prompt, accurate service in person, by phone, or email.
• Collaborate with team members to meet branch goals and adhere to regulations.
