Job summary

Interra Credit Union is seeking a Member Advisor Team Leader in Goshen, IN to support the Branch Manager with sales and service coaching for the branch staff, oversee daily operations, and help achieve individual production goals. You will back up the Branch Manager and drive a positive member experience.

The role focuses on specialized accounts, loans, and processing support, with emphasis on operational integrity and customer-focused service. Requires strong leadership and banking knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years customer service experience in banking, retail, or related field. Lending experience preferred.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to become a notary public and obtain an NMLS#.
• External candidates must pass Member Advisor Exam (score of 80% or higher) within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead minimum team size of at least 3 full time employees and coach branch staff in sales and service.
• Assist members with opening and closing accounts and resolving product/service questions.
• Assist branch manager with efficient branch operations, audits, staffing, and production.
• Interview members to assess consumer, small business, home equity and second mortgage loan needs and recommend options.
• Train junior staff and stay compliant with regulations and policies.
