Job summary

YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking a Lead Member Engagement Representative to deliver exceptional member service, build supportive relationships, and guide members through enrollment and program registration. This on-site role requires engaging with guests, answering questions, and partnering with the team to meet member goals.

You will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, handle membership interviews, and help ensure safety and smooth operations across the facility.

Qualifications

• One or more years of relevant work experience (sales, retail, reception, customer service).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and experience with database software and word processing.
• Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and phones.

Responsibilities

• Develops positive relationships with members and provides motivational support and guidance focusing on the needs of the member.
• Conducts membership interviews and processes member applications, including data entry.
• Assists members with program registration and inquiries, including member concerns and information on YMCA membership and programs.
• Balances and completes reports for financial transactions.
• Mentors Member Engagement staff as needed.
• Circulates throughout the building to ensure safety and security.
