Position Summary: As a Member Experience Host, Part-Time, you are the first impression and the heartbeat of our vibrant shared workspace. You play a vital role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and inspiring environment for all members and guests. You are the beginning of the community-building process for all Kings Gate visitors, day pass users, and members. Serving our members is our highest priority, and your interactions with guests greatly impact and support their personal businesses. Additionally, this role supports Kings Gate’s efforts to move people from a visit, tour, or day pass to full membership. This position blends hospitality, administrative support, and community engagement to ensure a seamless, productive, and enjoyable experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

  • Welcome and assist members and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all visitors are properly registered.
  • Handle phone calls and emails, providing helpful information or directing inquiries as needed.
  • Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately.
  • Keep front desk and shared areas clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
  • Lead tours and explain workspace amenities, services, and policies as part of the membership sales efforts and event rentals.
  • Maintain coffee station cleanliness and stock levels throughout the day.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • Assist members with booking conference rooms, printing, Wi‑Fi access, and basic tech needs.
  • Collect and relay feedback to help improve the member experience.
  • Notify members of mail/package deliveries and assist with food or courier drop-offs.
  • Anticipate member needs and provide proactive, thoughtful service.
  • Monitor shared areas to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Restock essential items such as printer supplies, key cards, snacks, and coffee bar supplies.
  • Promptly report maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
  • Open and close the workspace according to the schedule.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and productivity.
  • Support the execution of events, workshops, and networking sessions; some events my take place outside of public operating days/hours but will be scheduled with advance notice.
  • Assist with onboarding new members and connecting them with community resources.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, front desk, or coworking environments preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using basic office tech, including printers, scheduling apps, and tablets.
  • Friendly, proactive, and professional demeanor.

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
  • Moves throughout the building to access files.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
  • Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
