YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley is seeking part-time staff at the Utica Ridge YMCA in Davenport, IA to provide outstanding customer service to members and guests. The role includes greeting members, demonstrating equipment, and maintaining an organized fitness environment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, customer service experience, and must obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• CPR/AED/First Aid (or obtain within 30 days; training provided).

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and guests.
• Demonstrate equipment use.
• EGym orientations.
• Monitor facility access and enforce policies.
• Show members how to use fitness equipment.
• Support personal training sales.
• Maintain clean and organized fitness areas.

Skills

Customer service experience

CPR/AED/First Aid

Ability to lift 45 pounds

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
