Job summary

Chevron Federal Credit Union is seeking a Branch Associate in Pleasant Hill, CA to deliver exceptional member experiences and perform daily branch operations. You will assess member needs, recommend appropriate products, and assist with loan applications while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role emphasizes helping members achieve financial health, handling transactions, and collaborating with internal partners for mortgage and other services.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service and/or cash handling experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Delivers a consistent and exceptional member experience with every member interaction.
• Builds relationships with members through needs assessments and product/service recommendations.
• Advises members on financial health, savings, debt management, credit building, lending options, digital banking, and campaigns.
• Outreaches to members and prospects, following up to deepen relationships.
• Assists members with loan applications, reviews documents for accuracy, and coordinates with Consumer Lending.
• Engages members with mortgage and other partners to help achieve financial goals.
• Participates in business development events to identify sales prospects and follow up on leads.
• Assists members with transactions, balances cash, and adheres to policies to prevent fraud.
• Performs daily branch duties including servicing ATMs and other branch tasks.
• May be required to become a Notary Public.
• Other duties as assigned
