Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Float Member Support Specialist to serve as the in-office ambassador, ensuring a warm, efficient patient experience. You will manage patient intake, scheduling, billing knowledge, and feedback collection, while maintaining a welcoming lobby aligned with the One Medical brand.

You will collaborate with Practice Coordinators, Providers, and Operations to resolve issues, support office teams, and uphold service standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse, feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to adapt to change and act proactively under pressure.
• Proficiency with basic computer software and multiple systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a positive in-office experience.
• Handle front-of-house duties: check in/out, insurance verification, printing, prepping tests, etc.
• Contribute to team development through rounding, team huddles, and problem solving.
• Master technology suite (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, 1Life EMR) to coordinate with team and patients.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain office look and organization.
