Job summary

24 Hour Fitness in Downey, CA is seeking an Operations Lead to support daily operations, maintain cleanliness, and ensure outstanding member service. You will work with the General Manager and a team of club attendants and sales staff, serve as Manager on Duty during shifts, and drive membership and retail revenue through service excellence.

Responsibilities include overseeing staff, addressing member concerns, coordinating with Facilities for maintenance, ensuring scheduling and timekeeping

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience supervising and directing work of Team Members.
• Availability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Certifications in FirstAid/CPR or personal training.

Responsibilities

• Drive club performance by executing daily operational standards that support exceeding budget, improving IMU, and growing membership, as measured through reporting.
• Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts, maintaining a clean, safe, welcoming, and efficient club environment.
• Lead and direct Club Attendants and Sales & Service Team to deliver consistent service and retail performance.
• Own member issue resolution by addressing concerns and inquiries.
• Assist in member retention through training and development of the Sales & Service team and Club Attendants.
• Improve cleanliness and member sentiment by monitoring routines and coordinating with Facilities.
• Coordinate with General Manager on scheduling, timekeeping, dressing, and coaching to meet expectations.
• Manage resources and inventory to keep the club stocked and well maintained.
