Job summary

Allegan Credit Union, a division of Ignite Credit Union, seeks a Member Experience Advisor to deliver exceptional service both in person and through digital channels. You will open memberships, process consumer loans, and guide members to the right financial solutions while building lasting relationships.

In this role you will educate members on digital tools, support daily branch operations, and collaborate with the team to exceed branch sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a financial institution or sales-focused environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new digital tools.
• Desire to help members achieve financial success.

Responsibilities

• Engage members as first contact—building relationships and uncovering needs through conversation.
• Open memberships, checking, savings, and specialty accounts while ensuring policy compliance.
• Conduct consumer loan interviews, process applications, and recommend products like personal loans, auto loans, and credit cards.
• Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell and refer products that benefit the member’s financial well-being.
• Educate members on digital banking and self-service tools, promoting adoption of emerging technologies.
• Maintain and balance the branch vault, ensuring security and compliance.
• Support overall branch operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash management.
• Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed branch sales and service goals.
