Austin Country Club in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Member Experience Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service in a premier private club setting.

Qualifications

Austin Country Club is hiring a full-time Member Experience Bartender to help deliver exceptional service while contributing to one of Austin's premier private club environments.

This full-time opportunity offers $18.00 per hour plus 6% of room sales, and outstanding benefits, including:

THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR MEMBER EXPERIENCE BARTENDER

THE SCHEDULE:

• This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, special events, and occasional split shifts. Most shifts range between 4-8 hours. While you'll spend much of your time in our new Terrace Bar, you may support other outlets as club operations require.

YOUR ROLE:

• Deliver exceptional beverage service to members and guests
• Open and prepare bar stations for service
• Stock bars and monitor inventory levels
• Maintain organization of storage areas and beverage products
• Craft classic and specialty cocktails
• Recommend food and beverage pairings
• Explain menu offerings and daily culinary specials
• Process member charges and provide personalized service
• Assist with club events, holiday functions, and special gatherings
• Participate in monthly inventory counts
• Maintain health and sanitation standards
• Help resolve guest concerns while creating positive experiences
• Support teammates and managers in delivering premium hospitality

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GE
• 1+ years of experience in a restaurant, bartending, or barista setting
• Club experience is a plus
• A base knowledge of Beer, Wine & Liquor
• Basic computer skills are a plus
• Ability to create classic and craft cocktails
• TABC and Texas Food Handlers certifications
• Presentable
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Genuine
• Fast-paced
• Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to Stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time
