Job summary

Austin Country Club is seeking a full-time Men's Grill Busser/Server Assistant. The role supports servers and ensures smooth communication between the kitchen and dining team to keep orders moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge about the beverage and food service or hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Relay information between kitchen and servers to ensure orders are prepared with correct priority.
• Ensure orders flow efficiently from servers to the kitchen and are communicated clearly.
• Report guest comments, complaints, and any accidents to management in a timely manner.
• Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions to improve knowledge of the food and beverage industry.

THE BASICS

Schedule: Flexible schedule that can include weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Shifts range from 4 to 8 hours, and split shifts (doubles) may be occasionally scheduled depending on business needs.

YOUR DAY AS A SERVER ASSISTANT

As a Server Assistant at Austin Country Club, you play an essential role in ensuring that orders flow in an efficient manner from our servers to the kitchen. You relay information between the kitchen and waitstaff, ensuring orders are prepared with the correct priority. Using exceptional problem-solving skills, you eliminate any obstacles that may affect service, food preparation lines, or dishwashing stations. You also report guest comments, complaints, and any employee or guest accidents to management in a timely manner.

Attending scheduled meetings and training sessions is essential for continuously improving your knowledge of the food and beverage industry. Fostering a harmonious working climate is important to us, and you thrive in our strong team environment.
