Job summary

Community First Credit Union’s Oneida Street Branch in Appleton, WI is seeking a proactive Member Service Representative. You will use active listening and relationship-based conversations to understand member financial needs and offer appropriate deposit and loan solutions.

You will open and service accounts, assist with wires, direct deposits, and statements, process loan applications, and promote cross-sell of credit union products to strengthen member relationships.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in banking, finance, or related field.
• Two years of relevant experience; lending/financial services preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong time management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and web-based software.
• Passion for outstanding member service; team player.
• Ability to work hard, find solutions, and have fun.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service by uncovering members' financial needs and offering solutions.
• Open and service deposit accounts (savings, checking, CDs, HSA, IRA, ACH).
• Assist with wires, payroll/direct deposit, checks, ATMs, and statements.
• Process loan applications, analyze debt ratios, obtain approvals.
• Cross-sell credit union products to deepen member relationships.
