Job summary

Verve is seeking a Member Experience Advisor I to serve as a member ambassador across in-person, phone, and digital channels. You will process transactions, open deposit accounts, and take applications for credit products while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will explain features and regulatory terms in clear language, assist with digital banking, and participate in community outreach to grow Verve's member base. A friendly, detail‑oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months of customer service, retail banking, or cash handling experience.
• Basic knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet members promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment.
• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, check cashing, and official checks.
• Open and close consumer deposit accounts, adding or updating beneficiaries and related designations.
• Explain account features and regulatory terms in clear, member-friendly language.
• Assist members with digital banking tools and problem resolution.
• Take applications for credit cards, unsecured loans, and unsecured lines of credit.
• Participate in branch and community outreach activities to promote Verve’s brand.
• Balance and maintain cash drawer and recycling supply daily; follow security protocols.
• Follow all applicable laws and regulations, including BSA/AML, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act requirements.
