Job summary

Notre Dame Federal Credit Union in Minnesota seeks a Member Service Representative to proactively meet members’ financial needs by recommending solutions and handling depository and lending accounts. The role includes education on products, service excellence, and contributing to branch sales goals.

Responsibilities include processing loans, opening memberships, and providing outstanding service while maintaining regulatory compliance and teamwork with the credit union’s mission.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience requirements listed: High School diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Notary Public current registration or establishment thereof; NMLS Registration preferred or required depending on location; strong office software skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Word and comfortable with online member services.

Responsibilities

• Actively profiles new and current members and cross-sells appropriate products and services to meet member’s needs.
• Responds to member inquiries regarding depository and loan accounts and service features.
• Processes a variety of transactions including loan applications, closings, and member inquiries.
• Seeks lending, investment, business, mortgage referrals; opens new memberships and services existing ones.
• Onboards new members and conducts timely follow-up and communication.
• Operates computer to post transactions, manage accounts, and update information.
• Assist in opening/closing branches, maintaining cash controls, and regulatory compliance.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred

Notary Public

NMLS Registration (preferred, may be required depending upon location)
