Job summary

Catawba Island Club (CIC) is seeking an organized, energetic Event Coordinator to join our Events team. The role supports booking, planning, coordination, and execution of private member events and seasonal activities.

You will work with members, guests, and department leaders to ensure events reflect CIC's hospitality standards. Evening/weekend availability is required during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or related degree is a plus.
• Experience in event planning, hospitality, catering, or country club settings preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Book and coordinate member social events including birthdays, anniversaries, showers, engagements, and memorials.
• Meet with members to gather event details, preferences, and special requests.
• Prepare event spaces, décor, lighting, equipment, and other requirements.
• Greet hosts and guests; serve as the primary contact during events.
• Coordinate with CIC departments to ensure smooth execution and communication.
• Supervise summer interns and temporary staff as assigned.
