Lockheed Martin is seeking an engineer to perform unit level, element integration, and system-level testing of COTS or custom computing hardware and real-time embedded signal processing firmware/software. Responsibilities include developing test software requirements, procedures, coding, and executing tests in a lab setting.
The role requires collaborating with domain experts and military documentation, plus communication across programmatic and technical levels.
The candidate will perform the unit level test, element integration and test, and support system level testing of COTS or custom computing hardware and real-time embedded signal processing firmware/software applications, including engineering/technical evaluations, equipment functional checks, and troubleshooting, test, and analysis.
This engineer will work with domain experts and military documentation to develop test software requirements, procedures, code and execute the tests. First shift is the primary shift but because this role involves working in a lab environment, sometimes working different shifts will be required.
The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills and be able to communicate at both programmatic and technical levels with subordinates, peers, senior management levels and the customer.
