Job summary

YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking a dependable leader to develop and guide our Member Engagement staff on-site. You will oversee hiring, training, and scheduling, while fostering strong member relationships and connecting individuals with programs to help reach their goals.

You’ll work with a dynamic team, ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the mission of building a healthy community through YMCA programs and activities.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of relevant work experience (sales, retail, reception, customer service, etc.).
• Two or more years staff supervision experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by exceeding member expectations.
• Engage in active listening to build relationships and understand members' goals.
• Provide accurate information about membership and programs.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise assigned staff and volunteers.
• Ensure front desk operations run smoothly and enrollment procedures are followed.
• Maintain accurate membership/program records and cash controls.
• Assist in meeting monthly goals for new members enrolled.
