Job summary

California Coast Credit Union is seeking a Personal Financial Representative to deliver exceptional member service and promote CCCU products. You will handle new accounts, cross-sell services, and assist with loan processing while ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with members, goals achievement, and collaboration with team members in a friendly, member-first culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PFR I: 1 year experience in a financial institution or related field.
• PFR II: 2 years experience in a financial institution (with 1 of the 2 years as a PFR) or related field plus proven sales/service performance.
• PFR III: 3 years experience in a financial institution (with 2 of the 3 years as a PFR) or related field plus proven sales/service performance.
• Excellent communication skills; sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and cross-sell CCCU products and services to members.
• Process consumer and real estate loans and ensure documents are accurate.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (BSA/AML).
• Provide backup support to Personal Financial Assistant or Teller as needed.
• May maintain a cash drawer and serve as a notary.
